End of the Year Information

Kindergarten Registration for the school year 2015-16 is now in progress. If you are planning on sending your child to Evendale for kindergarten, please register them as soon as possible. Plans are now being made for full and half day classes for next year.

Fifth Grade Washington D.C. Trip. Students in Mrs. Katzer’s and Mr. Martin’s class along with parents, staff, and Dare Officer Titgemeyer, will depart Tuesday morning, May 19 for their annual trip to our Nation’s Capital. The group will visit Monticello before arriving in D.C. Then two days of busy touring before they arrive back home around 5 p.m. Friday evening. We wish them a safe and enjoyable trip.

Field Day is May 29. Please keep this day open if you are able to help with this popular annual outdoors event. PTA needs parents to help with activities during the morning. Come experience the team work that makes Evendale Elementary so special. Volunteers will need to be at school by 1 p.m. Field Day will take place at Evendale from 1:15-3:15 p.m. Please look for a sign up genius and/or a volunteer paper to come home. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Parents, older siblings ALL welcome to volunteer!

Lost and Found is overflowing! As the school year draws to a close please come by and check the lost and found. There are many items, including lunchboxes, hats, gloves and jackets. The lost and found is located in the cafeteria. Please ask your student to check for any lost or misplaced items!

What we are asking of you is to register your Kroger Plus Card on the website below. Then every time you shop, Evendale Elementary will earn a percentage from your purchase. No money to spend and children are rewarded by your purchase. Kroger Plus Cards REMINDER: Each card that is registered to support Evendale Elementary School MUST be re-enrolled online during the month of April. It is that simple. School Fees There is a district-wide policy regarding school fees. This includes overdue tuition from this and past years, unpaid extended day tuition, preschool and kindergarten fees from past years and the newly acquired school fees from this school year. Reminders/notices have been sent home numerous times this school year. Please contact Mrs. Mattocks (school secretary) at 864-1200 in the office to make arrangements for payment. Failure to do so may result in students being excluded from end-of-year special activities this school year and continues to follow the student throughout their school years at Princeton City Schools. They will be unable to attend prom or graduation if these debts are not taken care of.

Lunch Accounts There is also a district-wide no charge procedure for all meals. This means students cannot charge breakfast or lunch. Food Service is requesting that all outstanding breakfast and lunch fees be paid. Reminder letters are sent home weekly. If you have questions please contact Mrs. Cauble in the office.
